Orders

How do I track my order status?

Barb will process all orders within 48 hours. You will receive an automated email with tracking information once your order is confirmed, and again when your order ships. If you cannot find your tracking number, please contact us at hello@thebarbshop.com with your order number and we'll be happy to assist.

What if I want to change or cancel my order?

If you want to make any changes to your order, please email hello@thebarbshop.com and include your order number. 

How do I apply my coupon or discount code?

Our promotional codes are not automatically applied to orders and must be manually entered during checkout in the “apply discount code” section. Please note that only one discount code can be used at a time. Unfortunately, we cannot make any modifications to an order once it has been placed.

How do I redeem my gift card?

Your gift card may be redeemed during the checkout process when you reach the final “payment method” page. Check the box next to the “using a gift card?” prompt and enter your gift card number without spaces to see the balance available. Enter the amount you wish to apply to your order and then complete your purchase.

How do I make a wholesale order for my salon or shop?

If you are interested in a wholesale order, please email jesse@thebarbshop.com and we'll be happy to assist you!

Shipping

Which carrier will deliver my package?

Barb may ship orders via a variety of carriers, including USPS, FedEx, or UPS. If you have more specific questions or any issues with certain carriers, please send us an email at hello@thebarbshop.com.

Do you ship outside the U.S.?

Barb does not currently ship outside the U.S. but we look forward to serving our international Barbs very soon!

Returns

What is your return policy?

Don't LOVE it? We will issue you a full refund no questions asked if the jar has been used. 

If you for some reason haven't used the product, we will kindly ask that you return the unused product (as a small business, every jar counts)! At that point, we will provide the return label and issue a full refund. Please reach out to us at hello@thebarbshop.com with your order number.

Can I return a purchase that I made through a third party vendor (salon or retail store, Amazon, etc)?

Unfortunately, we cannot process returns for any purchases that were not made directly from our website. We suggest following up with the vendor directly.

Are Barb products made in the U.S.?

Yes, all Barb products are manufactured right here in the United States. Our manufacturer may source natural and other ingredients from around the world to ensure safety, quality, and performance.

Are Barb products cruelty-free?

Yes, all Barb products are cruelty-free. All of us at Barb are passionate about our furry friends and have never and don't allow any animal testing on our products.

Are Barb products vegan?

Our Barb Soft Clay Pomade contains beeswax so it is not considered vegan.

Are Barb products all natural or organic?

Our products contain as many organic, natural, and naturally-derived ingredients as possible. We work with high-quality producers to formulate safe and effective products which will remain stable in the package and deliver high performance for your hair.

Are Barb products safe to use while pregnant or nursing?

Yes. Consult your physician if you have any known allergies or specific concerns.

How do you test your products?

We follow Good Manufacturing (cGMP) standards for all manufacturing. All products are tested for stability and safety. Never tested on animals, always cruelty-free.

When does my product expire?

Our product has been tested to have a two-year shelf life.

Are Barb products gluten free?

Yes, our Barb Soft Clay Pomade is gluten-free.

Do you use sulfates or parabens in your products?

Our products are paraben, SLS, and mineral oil free.

One of your products caused a reaction on my skin or hair. What should I do?

Our products are for external use only. If irritation occurs, stop use immediately. If irritation persists, contact your physician.

Can I travel with my product or leave it in hot or cold temperatures?

Yes, you can travel with your product. Barb products should not be left in extreme heat or cold. We recommend storing in a temperate, dry place.

Does Barb sell to Salons/Shops/Stylists/Retailers?

You bet we do! Send us an email at jesse@thebarbshop.com to let us know you're interested and we'll follow up.

Packaging

Which parts of my packaging or product can I recycle?

You can recycle all of the packaging in which your Barb products arrive. The glass jars and lids are also recyclable. Get creative--show us your Barb jar living its second life!
